Thanks Nanda. The crazy thing is, it seems my best pics are the ones when I was not trying to do anything special. The more effort I give, the less quality. I’m learning…
I guess photography is like life. You shoot for something and hope the result is good
I welcome any suggestions Maureen and I love your blog and writing. Thanks for everything
You are very welcome Scott.. and yes “photography is like LIFE …!!! Thanks for the compliment.. (smiling) im trying.. Im still learning.. It is fun somehow…
Thanks Shauna. I’m just learning and after I feel I’ve mastered the basics I’ll move on to the next thing. Drawing, painting, etc
I hope all is well there
Yes, you’re right. I love photos of other things too, such as nature and various landscapes, but people always add soul to photos and I feel more of a story is told.
Thanks for commenting
wow! these are some beautiful pics Scott. I have a thing for black and white photos
The first blog I ever followed was as photography one… I love photos that speak for themselves, not needing a caption or anything else. They are complete as they are! I make my own story and I get that from yours
Thanks! I’ve always had a thing for it too. I’m not sure how to explain it, but there is something special in B&W.
My little problem now is that I’m only using a little Sony camera. I need to start researching something bigger and better so I can work better in low light, etc.
Scott, what a gift you have with photography! Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier… if I can ever be of any assistance with photography or anything else just let me know! – Giazon
Wow dude! Did you say you were an amateur? Psshht…These are LOVELY! …I don’t know much about the technicalities of photography myself but as someone with a deep love and appreciation for photography – these are awesome. You’ve got real talent here.
Nice photos. My only suggestion was work a little more on focusing. I like the ones out of focus on purpose. Keep your spontaneity. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Thanks Carla! This is the kind of advice I need. (well, I also need a decent camera)
When I get a new camera and only want to invest in one additional lens to start, which kind shouldI get with the best all-around use? (between $200 and $500)
Aww, thanks Lane! And thanks for reminding me that I needed to update this page I just reactivated I added a few new ones. Hope you are well and blessed

The one sitting down at the water – that red bow/flower in her hair. Great contrast there.

Hi Scott,
Thanks for your visits to my blog. Beautiful photographs. It looks like you either travel a lot or that you live in an exotic Latin American locale.
